Quality assurance
Accreditations
Analytico Food is accredited against ISO/IEC 17025 by the Dutch Accreditation Council RvA, as is evident from the accreditation certificate. This means that both its management system and its technical competence have been audited by independent experts and that they satisfy the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
The organisation thus meets requirements such as:
· Description of organisation
· Management of documentation
· Procedures for evaluating quotations and contracts
· Service-lending to the customer
· Complaint procedure
· Corrective and preventive measures
· Management of deviations and orders
Along with the organisation (management), specific analyses are accredited within ISO/IEC. These appear on a so-called List of Activities (LVV). The analyses also meet the requirements set in ISO/IEC 17025 and are checked annually at random by the Council for Accreditation. Procedures and prescriptions must be set down in a quality manual.
A number of the analysis requirements:
· Qualifications and training of personnel
· Validation of methods (in products such as listed in the LVV)
· Determination of measurement uncertainty
· Guaranteeing the quality of the results (control samples, ring assays)
· Guaranteeing equipment (calibrating, keeping up logbooks)
· Convertibility of measurements
