Eurofins Pharma adds pre-clinical laboratory to network
Eurofins Pharma announces that ADME Bioanalyses (Montpellier, France) becomes a member of its Pharma division. ADME Bioanalyses specialises in pre-clinical and clinical analytical services including pharmacokinetic and metabolism assessments. The facility has a full GLP license and the experience level needed to provide services in the support of the registration of innovative medicines. Next to services to the Pharma sector, ADME provides similar (GLP) services to the agro and fine chemical industry.
Patrick Duchêne (CEO and founder of ADME) states his decision to join Eurofins was fuelled by his desire to grow the company at a far more elevated pace than possible alone.
ADME was founded in 1987 near Nice and moved to its present location in 1999 to better serve its clients needs. The premises specially designed to optimise efficiency and safety for conducting pharmacokinetic and metabolic fate studies according to the latest European regulations. Wicher Wichers, Vice-chairman of the Eurofins-Group, comments that this operation amplifies the strategic choice of Eurofins to build a full laboratory service to the pharmaceutical industry. Other strategic affiliates in the Pharma division are Medigenomix, (genomic services), Analytico Medinet (Bioanalyses) and CRL.Medinet (central laboratory services).
