Eurofins revenue increases by 44 percent to 216.6m euro
During the first half of the year from January 1 until June 30, 2007, Eurofins achieved revenues of 216.6m euro, which represents an increase of 44 percent compared with 150.9m euro in the first half of the year in 2006. The revenues of the second quarter of 2007 were 113.8m euro, a 41 percent increase over the second quarter of 2006 (80.7m euro).
As in the first quarter, in addition to the organic growth this increase represents the ongoing effect of the consolidation of prior year acquisitions. Organic growth for the first half year was over 10 percent. Eurofins confirms its full year revenue objective of 450m euro.
On the 26th July 2007 the Company paid its first ever dividend. This dividend of 0.10 euro relates to the financial year 2006.
The Group achieved its EBITA budget in the first half of 2007. The full first half year results will be published on August 31, 2007.
